HOW IT WORKS
Making our Halotherapy an enjoyable and stress-free experience for your horse is of key importance to us. As horses feel most relaxed
in an environment familiar to them, we travel to you and your horse. We have a mobile system available that is compact in size
and quiet when in operation. An enclosed stable or space and a power point are all we need to get started.
WE TRAVEL TO YOU AND YOUR HORSE
Making our Halotherapy an enjoyable and stress-free experience for your horse is of key importance to us. As horses feel most relaxed in an environment familiar to them, we travel to you and your horse. Weather you are at home or at competition.
MOBILE SYSTEM
We install our mobile Halogenerator in the enclosed stable or space for the duration of the therapy session, which is 20 minutes. Only a power point is needed for this. An enclosed stable or space is necessary, to keep the dry salt vapor in the room.
Your horse can enter the stable and relax, as we start the Halotherapy. During the therapy the Halogenerator grinds up dry salt into microscopic particles to be dispersed into the air, which you can see as a white mist, for your horse to inhale.
DRY SALT
The dry salt particles travel deep into your horse’s lungs and can help to draw out inflammation, loosen congestion for easy expulsion and cleanse the airways of mucus, dust and pollutants. This allows the airways to open up and your horse to breathe easier and increase its oxygen intake.
The dry salt particles landing on your horse’s skin can help to relieve sore, injured and irritated skin, by naturally cleansing the skin of bacterial infections. They can also help to balance the pH-levels of the skin and stimulate healthy cell rejuvenation and skin elasticity. Opening up the airways and increasing oxygen intake also allows the skin to recover faster.
A RELAXING EXPERIENCE
A therapy session takes 20 minutes and is usually part of a 'care package' with a number of therapy sessions, that will be repeated every consecutive day. This consistency is important to allow the dry salt to do its work and achieve optimum results.
Most horses seem to find Halotherapy an enjoyable experience and visibly relax during the therapy, both mentally and physically.

We work with the Halomed HaloPrima-02M Halogenerator, this innovative system is medically certified.
Particle size and concentration of dry salt are carefully monitored and, if necessary, adjusted to the individual needs of your horse
to ensure optimum benefits. We are pleased to be able to bring this unique form of 'Equine Assistance' to you and your horse.
